I first felt the benefits of Bowen Therapy for myself whilst pregnant & during the post-natal period. Having had a c-section I found that the treatments helped speed up the post-surgery recovery time.
Shortly after I decided to train in The Bowen Technique myself & completed my initial training on people, qualifying in June 2014. I immediately went on to study with The School of Canine Bowen Therapy & gained my qualification in October 2015. Working with dogs is a special passion of mine & I enjoy the challenge that it brings!
I attend regular practitioner workshops to develop my skills as a therapist & I am fully insured to treat people & dogs alike.
I hold clinics for people at Newent Osteopaths in Newent & The Apothecary Shop in Ledbury & a Canine Bowen Therapy clinic at K9 Raw Supplies in Cinderford & a mobile clinic covering the following areas;
Newent, Forest of Dean, Gloucester,Tewkesbury, Ross-On-Wye, Hereford, Ledbury & Malvern
In June 2020 I joined the Weleda Wellbeing Advisor regional team for Gloucestershire as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown situation, where I suddenly found myself temporarily unable to practice, with children at home for an extended period & a new need to find a form of income from work at home. I had been familiar with the brand previously & found that the company ethos, products & use of medicinal herbs (which have always been of interest to me) in their healthcare & skincare range resonated with me & have become a natural addition to the services I already provide
