This non-invasive technique is a popular choice for;
chronic pain

stiffness & general muscular aches & pains
frequent headaches or migraines
sports injury
menopause/peri-menopause issues
chronic fatigue
digestive issues
stress, anxiety & sleep issues
post surgery rehabilitation
as a boost to your overall wellbeing
The therapist makes gentle but firm rolling moves over specific points of the body which target the layers of 'fascia' (a type of connective soft tissue rich in nerve receptors). The session is interspersed with 2 minute breaks which allow the brain & nervous system to process, recalibrate & effect changes within the body.
Typical results reported by clients after a series of 3 to 4 successive sessions are:
notable reductions in pain or discomfort
reduced stiffness & increased range of functional movement
improved posture & a feeling of restored 'balance'
improved sleep patterns
reduction in recovery time following physical exertion
improved overall wellness
Bowen Therapy is a safe technique for children, the very elderly, throughout pregnancy & during end of life care.
